Are you a teacher with an IT background who is dedicated to helping students and working together with staff and parents to make sure all the children’s needs are met?

Are you able to work well under pressure and overcome challenging situations by being able to build relationships with students, building trustworthy bonds and making sure they know that they are supported thoroughly.

We have the opportunity for you to work in a Pupil referral unit in the Wirral area. They work hard to make sure that they are engaging with the students in order to break down any barriers that they may have towards education and push them to achieve their own personal goals.

  • Hours/Days: Monday-Friday, 8.00am-3.00pm (Term-Time only)
  • Start date- As soon as possible.
  • Specialist provision- Wirral
  • Pay in line with Teaching Scale point £28,000-£43,685.

The school received a GOOD rating from Ofsted. Pupils trust staff and therefore always work hard to push themselves too as they know that staff have very high expectations of them and believe in them. Pupils who attend the school have all had disruption to their education in the past so staff are highly dedicated to changing the way pupils think about education and school.

The ideal IT teacher would be somebody with a very caring nature, they would be able to stay calm under pressure genuinely care about working with children to get the best for them. They would use their skills to keep pupils engaged and wanting to learn by encouraging them and staying positive.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
