IT Teacher
Treorchy
Ben at Teaching Personnel is working alongside a brilliant secondary school based in the Treorchy area who are currently in need of a qualified IT Teacher to take up a position with them. The position is available to start ASAP and will be running for the remainder of the academic year with scope to move into a permanent position if the placement is successful. Interviews are being held over the next 2 weeks.
IT Teacher Requirements:
- Hold qualified teacher status
- Experience teaching IT to KS3/4/5
- Hold enhanced DBS available on the update service
- Valid registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council)
- 2 school-based references desirable

This fantastic opportunity is open to both NQTs looking to kickstart their career or FQTs wanting a new challenge. The successful applicant will be working as part of a team in a friendly and reliable environment that is the schools IT department. The school & Teaching Personnel do have additional training and mentoring available throughout the duration of the position to ensure the successful IT teacher can perform at their peak ability.
You will be expected to pre-plan lessons in line with the school curriculum and teach this to students across KS3,4 & 5 as well as marking and other general teaching duties.
