Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a vibrant secondary school in Poole to recruit a passionate and dedicated IT Teacher to join the team in September 2025.

About the Role:
As an IT Teacher, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, engaging lessons in Information Technology. You will inspire students to think creatively, problem-solve effectively, and develop the digital skills needed for the modern world.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging IT lessons suited to a variety of learning abilities.

Create a supportive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and independence.

Make effective use of digital tools to enhance teaching and learning.

Monitor student progress and provide regular, constructive feedback.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote high standards across the department.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching IT/Computing at secondary level.

Up-to-date knowledge of IT developments and digital tools.

Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate learners of all abilities.

A commitment to continuous professional development.

Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
