Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit enthusiastic, well organised and flexible individuals with an interest in making a difference to the lives of young people for the role of Inclusion Mentor. Candidates will be passionate about education, experience in working with vulnerable and challenging young people who are disengaged from learning would be desirable. This role demands an empathetic and non-judgemental approach, as well as resourcefulness and creativity.
Essential to the role is solid educational background, and/or relevant experience. Candidates must be qualified to at least GCSE level, additional qualifications related to working with young people with SEMH needs would be advantageous. This role is a demanding yet impactful one and aims to further support the development of the Schools inclusive education policy. The Candidates will work with young people disengaged with education and learning, and in some cases the wider community. Many of these young people have challenging family circumstances, and/or wider personal or mental health issues.
The role offers the chance to make a very real difference to the lives of the young people you work with, and there families. The success Candidate will also benefit from working in a well-resourced, collaborative School environment.
