ICT Teacher

We are looking for a forward thinking inspirational ICT teacher for a leading secondary school in Southampton!

We are working alongside one of our partner schools who are seeking a computing teacher to join them from Easter to teach across the KS3 and KS4 curriculum and this will involve teaching up to GCSE level. 

The school are very much a forward thinking school with fantastic facilities which the teachers are encouraged to encompass within their lessons. The computing and ICT department are very well established and have excellent leadership in place with the head of department also being a senior member of the SLT team. 

The school are apart of a wider school network which is able to provide fantastic cpd opportunities and enable you gain further qualifications to further your teaching career. 

As part of this teaching role, duties will include:

• Teaching GCSE Computer Science and GCSE ICT (IT), to pupils between the ages of 11-16 years.

• Keeping pupils engaged and focused on their learning and development.

• Planning and preparing for lessons.

• Managing behaviour in line with school policies.

• Assessing students’ progress and abilities.
