IT Teacher – Portland

Are you an inspiring IT specialist with a passion for helping young people thrive in a digital world? We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in the Portland area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT to bring creativity, innovation, and expertise into the classroom.

 

The Role:
You will be delivering engaging IT lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students to develop essential digital skills and confidence.

The role involves planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing pupil progress, and contributing to the wider life of the school, including enrichment opportunities.

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with a specialism in IT/Computer Science

  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for technology and teaching

  • Able to engage and inspire students of all abilities

  • Committed to raising attainment and supporting student success

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
