Contract Type: Full-time, Ongoing Position (via Teaching Personnel)

Salary: Competitive – dependent on experience
About the Role
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a well-established secondary school in the B30 area of Birmingham to recruit a qualified and enthusiastic ICT Teacher.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and innovative teacher to deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in ICT and Computer Science to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will have a passion for digital learning, a strong understanding of the curriculum, and the ability to inspire students to develop their technical and analytical skills.
You will be joining a supportive department and a forward-thinking school that values creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver ICT and Computer Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.

Assess, record, and report on pupil progress and attainment.

Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning for all students.

Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement initiatives.

Promote positive behaviour and uphold school values.
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
-
Experience teaching ICT or Computer Science at secondary level.

Strong subject knowledge and understanding of current educational developments.
-
Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
-
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
