An opportunity has arisen at a school in South Manchester. The position will focus on the delivery of lessons, across both KS3 - KS5. The required applicant will:
- Hold QTS (or an equivalent qualification)
- Be educated to degree level (preferably in History/Geography or a related subject.
It is expected that the required individual will be able to:
- Deliver the school’s History and Geography curriculum, across KS3 - KS4.
- Devise strategies to engage pupils throughout lessons, as well as setting homework tasks that consolidate learning.
- Ensure tthat pupils consistently adhere to school policy.
- Managing the individual needs of those requring support on an SEN/EAL basis.
- Be able to work with students on both an individual, as well as a group basis, ensuring that the learning process is made accessible for all pupils.
- Provide consistent feedback to students and other teaching staff when necessary.
The appplicant will be able to gain:
- Invaluable experience with the regards to the monitoring of attendance, as well as with regards to examination preparation and in-class assessment.
- The chance to work with children across a wide range of ages, abilities and backgrounds.
- Pay - GBP24,373 and GBP40,490 based on previous experience.
