Humanities Teacher

Exciting opportunity within the Humanities department of a small secondary school with a friendly and welcoming feel!

• Part Humanities teacher 
• Teaching History and Religious Studies
• Required from January 2021 for the Spring Term in the first instance
• Supporting pupils aged 11-16
• Secondary school based in Sudbury - Ofsted graded 'Good'

Our client school is looking to recruit a part time teacher for the Humanities department. The successful teacher will be expected to take on planning and marking responsibilities. The teacher will be required to teach differentiated Humanities lessons to pupils at varying levels of learning ability across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will also be expected to assess and evaluate classwork and to report these back to senior members of staff in order to take appropriate action.

To be considered for this position you must have QTS and have experience teaching History and Religious Studies across Key Stage 3 and 4 level. Both experienced and newly qualified teachers of both History and Religious Studies are being considered for this role. Our client school is located local to Sudbury, Suffolk and you will need your on transport to access the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
