Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Humanities Teacher to work in secondary schools across Northampton and the surrounding areas. This full-time position is available for an immediate start.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join supportive schools committed to delivering engaging and thought-provoking Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).
The Role:

Deliver engaging lessons in History, Geography and/or Religious Education
-
Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the national curriculum
-
Encourage critical thinking and discussion around global, historical and cultural topics
-
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
-
Contribute positively to the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Experience teaching Humanities at secondary level
-
Strong subject knowledge across one or more Humanities disciplines
-
Excellent classroom management skills
-
A passion for inspiring young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
