Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Humanities Teacher to work in secondary schools across Northampton and the surrounding areas. This full-time position is available for an immediate start.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join supportive schools committed to delivering engaging and thought-provoking Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in History, Geography and/or Religious Education

  • Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the national curriculum

  • Encourage critical thinking and discussion around global, historical and cultural topics

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management

  • Contribute positively to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Humanities at secondary level

  • Strong subject knowledge across one or more Humanities disciplines

  • Excellent classroom management skills

  • A passion for inspiring young people
