Humanities Teacher

Location: Chepstow

Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm

Start Date: 1st September 2025

Pay: Paid to scale £166.32- £260 per day

Are you a dedicated and dynamic Humanities Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in CHepstow? A reputable secondary school is seeking a passionate educator to join their team, teaching students aged 11-16. If you are enthusiastic about fostering a love for humanities and enjoy a varied teaching schedule, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across a range of humanities subjects.
  • Adapt to teaching various topics within the humanities curriculum.
  • Plan and prepare lessons in alignment with the national curriculum.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to enhance the learning experience.
  • Maintain excellent organisational and time management skills.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching humanities to secondary school students.
  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Two recent professional references.
  • Proof of the right to work in the UK.
  • Registration with the Educational Workforce Council (EWC).
