This role will involve planning, preparing, teaching, and marking a full timetable of lessons across Humanities subjects for pupils aged 11-18. There will be the opportunity to focus on your speciality subject(s) as the role progresses, so this would be fantastic for teachers or NQTs with Geography, History, Religious Education, Sociology or Philosophy degrees.
The school is a mid-sized Secondary school in Cardiff with excellent transport links to the city centre and the rest of South Wales. The SLT team are proud of the diverse and vibrant student population of just under 700, who will benefit from an engaging and dedicated Humanities Teacher.
What You Need
- PGCE/QTS and a relevant humanities degree (alternatively experience teaching Humanities)
- 2 Professional References
- Enhanced Child Only DBS Check and registration with the EWC
