Job description

We are working with a vibrant, inclusive secondary school in Brent, seeking a passionate Humanities Teacher for a September 2025 start. This is a permanent role within a supportive environment focused on academic success and student wellbeing.

The school has a dedicated Humanities faculty that consistently delivers strong outcomes at KS3 and KS4. The Role

  • Full-time Humanities Teacher covering History, Geography, or Religious Education at KS3 and KS4

  • Delivering engaging, challenging lessons to inspire and motivate learners

  • Contributing to curriculum planning, assessments, and extracurricular activities

  • Creating an inclusive environment that supports students of all abilities

  • Upholding high expectations for behaviour, progress, and safeguarding

The Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Degree in a Humanities subject

  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills

  • Commitment to raising achievement and promoting equality

  • Passion for inspiring students and contributing to the wider school community
