Humanities Teacher – Full Time, Permanent – Bournemouth

Teaching Personnel are proud to be working with a well-established mainstream secondary school in Bournemouth, who are seeking an enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4, fostering a love for learning and ensuring all students reach their full potential. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, energy, and a genuine passion for Humanities and education.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Humanities lessons in line with the national curriculum

Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support

Create an inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued

Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies

Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Minimum of one year’s teaching experience in a UK secondary school

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young people

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
