Job Vacancy: KS3 History & Geography Teacher

Location: Lancashire (BB4 Area)

Start Date: October 2025

Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term until July 2026

An outstanding secondary school in the BB4 area of Lancashire is seeking a passionate and committed Humanities teacher to join their team from October 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach KS3 History and Geography in a well-resourced and supportive environment with high academic standards and a strong sense of community.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Be a qualified teacher with a specialism in Humanities
  • Have experience teaching History and Geography at KS3 level
  • A passion for Humanities education and a desire to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and global awareness in students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
  • The ability to demonstrate strong classroom management and a creative approach to lesson planning
  • Be committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning experience for all students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
