HLTA with EAL Bristol

Teaching Personnel Bristol are seeking two Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) to join a Secondary school in Bristol. The role will begin in September 2018, it is full time and will be for the whole academic year.

About the Role:

• This is a full time position
• The pay rate will be between £65-80 a day - dependant on experience.

The successful candidate will be supporting students with below average literacy and for whom English is an Additional Language (EAL).

You will be expected to develop and deliver resources, interventions and programmes to support students' reading, writing and oracy skills.

The pupils you will be supporting will need intensive support as they will be newly arrived EAL students at KS3 and KS4.

They will also promote equality of opportunity for every student in order that they achieve their fullest potential.
