Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit HLTAs to work in SEN schools and other alternative provisions in Hull and the surrounding area. Whether you are a level 4 TA or a teacher looking to take a step back and try a new role in the classroom, we would love to hear from you.
About the role
Being a HLTA involves working with pupils in a variety of settings be they 1:1, small group or assisting within a classroom setting to engage pupils and ensure they are able to develop pupils learning. A large part of your role will be to manage a range of challenging pupils who may exhibit violent or otherwise disruptive behaviour and it is important that any HLTA will have previous experience within a SEN school, or otherwise SEN pupils in a mainstream setting.
