HLTA for Maths intervention
Start: Fixed term initially for one year and/or whilst covid funding is available
Location: East Sussex / Hailsham
Salary - Single Status Grade 4 point 9 to 10
Our partner Secondary School based near Hailsham is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work with small groups of Year 7 and 8 students in need of extra support in Maths. The successful applicant will withdraw students from lessons to provide bespoke support. Confidence in Maths is essential; Higher Level Teaching Assistant status is desirable.
You will:
• Be committed to consistency, aspiration and standards
• Have relevant knowledge and skills
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly with young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
