We are looking for HLTA (higher level teaching assistants) to work with us on a day to day and/or long term basis.
We work with different schools and academy trusts with have different needs so finding the right candidate is crucial. If you find yourself approachable, flexible and reliable then we want to hear from you.
We have a number of positions that are working with children and young people in mainstream education and in SEN provisions. They are working on a 1:1 and/or small group basis, as well as leading different classroom sessions. The work is set out for what is needed to be completed and there is additional support in the classrooms.
Candidates must have a HLTA qualification. If you have other qualifications such as:
- Team Teach
- Degree
- MAPA
- Forest schools
- Behaviour management
If you have any others qualifications then this will strengthen your application. Candidates must have 2 years experience of working in an educational setting. Being able to drive is required.
A DBS is needed in child workforce only. As part of our vetting requirements your DBS needs to be on the Update Service. If you do not have either of these then do not hesitate to contact us as we can help you to go through the application process.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
