History teaching role in Preston, Lancashire

I am working on behalf of an 'Outstanding' School in the Preston area who require a Teacher of History across KS3/4 with some aspects of KS5 teaching AQA A-Level History, and the subjects they require cover in are:
- The British Empire, c1857-1967
- The Cold War, c1945-1991
- The Demise of African American Slavery, 1776-1877 (coursework)
"We'd be looking for someone with significant teaching experience, who could hit the ground running and pick up classes who are currently in the middle of these courses, and see them through to the exams in summer."
This is a full-time teaching post and the school require someone for the full academic year with a potential opportunity to secure a permanent post at the end of the initial placement.
The school are seeking an experienced Teacher so unfortunately NQTs would not be suitable for this post. The successful Teacher will be required to plan and deliver high quality History lessons up to KS4. You will also be expected to attend whole school and departmental meetings to keep up to date with any CPD.
