A small secondary school in St Albans wish to recruit a history teacher 3 days a week from October half term.  You will be teaching across KS3 and KS4 with full planning and marking responsibilities.

The school is set in the centre of St Albans with good transport links into London and fantastic facilities.  Teaching Personnel have worked in partnership with this school for a number of years and teachers always enjoy working in this school with one teacher describing the school as a 'hidden gem’.

This position is due to maternity cover starting earlier because of the current pandemic, it will be on a timesheet basis through ourselves until the end of the academic year.

Whilst QTS is not essential, experience of delivering inspiring and outstanding lessons is.  However the school would also welcome applications from recent history graduates who are looking for an entry into teaching.  They offer excellent CPD and are a school that will support you whatever level of your teaching career you are at.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
