Teaching Personnel are happy to be working alongside this Bristol secondary school based in St.Pauls to enhance the quality of finding them the right candidate to start with them in September. The school are seeking an individual to take on KS3 and KS4 responsibilities, this entails the successful candidate to lead the lower school history lessons but also teach GSCE History.

The school also carry out extra curricular activities and trips to Germany. You will have the responsibility in helping organise the trip for KS3 and KS4. This is an exciting career opportunity for a colleague who is passionate about the entitlement of young people to inspiring history lessons. Working within a vibrant and highly successful faculty, you will be an outstanding classroom teacher with a commitment to the progress of all students in our fully comprehensive and heavily oversubscribed school.

To be considered for this role:

  • Must hold QTS or have just completed a PGCE in History
  • Have the confidence to teach the curriculum to GCSE level
  • Hold a current DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one to enable clearance for work
