Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a client provision in Fulford, York, who are seeking to appoint a passionate History Graduate to join their thriving Humanities department. You will join this progressive Community School as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Mentor, supporting Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils on a 1:1 basis or with small groups. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to begin their career in Education, or are considering completing their Teacher training to become a Humanities/History Teacher in the near future!

Working through Teaching Personnel will allow you to gain invaluable experience, whilst earning fair and competitive rates of pay, starting at £61.75 per day. You will also have access to a range of in-house and online training courses, including Child Psychology, Autism Awareness, Team Teach and Diplomas in SEN including Levels 2, 3 and 4.

As the Ideal Graduate History Teaching Assistant, you should have a willingness to learn, be enthusiastic and have a happy and creative approach to teaching. You will need to establish strong and trusting relationships with students, whilst being aware of safeguarding policies within School. You should be able to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and be committed to your career in education.
