Higher Level Teaching Assistant, Leeds

Job description

Are you a HLTA looking for work in the Leeds area? Have you got experience leading classes across the primary age range (Nursery - Year 6)? Are you available to start teaching as soon as possible?

TP are looking for a qualified HLTA for a full-time support role starting as soon as possible to cover PPA and general sickness in school. The school is located in the centre of Leeds just a short journey away from the Leeds City centre however, you may also be require to work ar other schools within the cluster on days they do not need you. 

Candidates applying for this role must have the following: 

•              HLTA qualification or equivient with experience leading classes across the Primary age range 

•              Experience supporting pupils from a variety of different backgrounds

•              Be available full-time and within school hours 8am - 4pm

•              Experience supporting pupils with SEN and English as an additional language

Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as; National Association of SEN, National Autistic Society, Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University. 

These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability and many more.
