We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive and forward-thinking SEN school through our agency on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a nurturing environment and is looking for long-term career progression.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality learning support across a range of SEN needs, including ASD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties

• Lead small-group sessions and occasionally cover whole-class teaching

• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to implement personalised learning plans

• Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

• Provide encouragement, structure, and emotional support to help pupils achieve their potential

What We’re Looking For

• HLTA qualification or equivalent

• Experience working in an SEN or alternative provision setting

• Strong behaviour management and communication skills

• Adaptability, patience, and a child-centred approach

• A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
