Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Luton
Salary: £89 – £100 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full time and Part time 

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive secondary school environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about supporting young people and making a meaningful impact on their education.

As a HLTA, you will:

  • Support teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons when required
  • Lead targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions
  • Support teachers in raising attainment and improving pupil engagement
  • Contribute to the wider school environment and pastoral support

Requirements
Experience is essential for this role. The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience working within a secondary school setting
  • A minimum Level 3 qualification (HLTA status desirable but not essential)
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • A proactive, positive and professional approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
