Salary: £90 – £100 per day

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Graduate Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Luton. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with experience working with young people to gain hands-on experience in education.

The Role
As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of teaching staff.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher
  • Managing pupil behaviour in a positive manner in line with school policies
  • Ensuring students remain on task and complete the work set
  • Providing feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour

Requirements

  • A degree (or currently studying at university)
  • Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • A proactive, adaptable and professional attitude
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
