Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a specialist SEN school in King’s Lynn, and we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or Cover Supervisor to join the team from September 2025.
About the Role:

Provide classroom cover across a range of subjects and key stages in the absence of the class teacher

Deliver pre-set work and ensure effective classroom management
-
Support pupils with diverse needs and moderate to severe learning difficulties
-
Work closely with teaching staff and support staff to ensure continuity and high-quality provision
Ideal Candidate:
-
Previous experience as a HLTA, Cover Supervisor, or senior Teaching Assistant
-
Strong understanding of working with children with SEN
-
Confident with behaviour management and classroom supervision
-
Resilient, adaptable, and able to build positive relationships with students
-
HLTA qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
