Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Primary School, Exeter
Full-time and Part-time opportunities available - £95-£120 a day (depending on experience)
Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a supportive primary school setting? Do you enjoy playing an active role in the classroom and helping pupils achieve their best?
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with welcoming Primary Schools in Exeter that are seeking confident and enthusiastic HLTA's to join their team.
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Responsibilities will include:

Delivering pre-planned lessons and covering classes when required
-
Leading small group interventions and targeted support sessions
-
Supporting pupils with a range of abilities and learning needs
-
Working closely with class teachers to support planning, preparation and assessment
-
Promoting a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
To be successful in this role, you will need:
-
HLTA qualification or a minimum of 6 months’ experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
-
A good understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
-
A flexible, proactive approach and confidence working across different year groups
-
Strong communication and behaviour management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
