High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Permanent, Full Time

Andover | Start Date: January 2026

We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and dedicated High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Andover on a permanent, full-time basis starting January 2026.

As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, delivering high-quality interventions, leading whole class learning when required, and working closely with teachers to help every child achieve their full potential.

Pay: £97 - £107 a day

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds HLTA status (or equivalent qualification)
  • Has previous experience working in a primary school setting – essential
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Is confident leading groups and whole-class sessions
  • Shows initiative, flexibility, and a positive, child-centred approach
  • Works well as part of a collaborative team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
