Health and Social Care Assistant - York
Are you a Health & Social Care Assistant? Are you looking for a new role? Do you have experience of working with additional needs? If so, we have the perfect role for you!
Teaching Personnel is looking to appoint a Health & Social Care Assistant for a Special Needs School in York. If successful, there is the opportunity to gain a direct contract through the School.
An the ideal Health and Social Care Assistant, you should have:
- Experience of working within the Health & Social Care sector
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A nurturing approach to managing mental health needs
- Moving and Handling training, or
The School caters for Primary aged pupils with moderate to profound and multiple learning difficulties, as well as pupils with autism. The School provides full time education for almost 100 pupils. The timetable compromises social development through play-based learning and speech and language improvement activities.
