Head of Year – Outstanding Secondary School, Southampton
Specialism in Geography or French Preferred
Full-Time | Permanent | September 2025 Start
Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR (dependent on experience)

An outstanding and high-performing secondary school in Southampton is seeking a passionate and committed Head of Year to join our pastoral leadership team from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated teacher with a strong commitment to student wellbeing and achievement.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have a proven track record of excellent classroom practice
  • Ideally specialise in Geography or French, though all subject areas will be considered
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for pastoral care
  • Be committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and aspirational environment for all students
