Lead Teacher/Head of Department for Modern Foreign Languages needed for 'Good' School in Waterlooville, January 2020 start
On behalf of our partner School based close to Portsmouth we are looking to recruit an inspirational Head of/Lead Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages, to continue the work the School are doing on their journey to 'Outstanding'. Our School is committed to the Students it serves, encouraging their educational development and more widely setting them up for life after School. The successful candidate will...
- be suitably qualified, and a strong/outstanding practitioner in their own right
- have experience in a line management position, and in supporting supporting junior colleagues
- be passionate about langauges and able to enthuse other in this passion
- have high expectations of Students and their Staff
- share our passion for education and uphold the values of the School
- fully commit to ongoing improvement and CPD
As our newly appointed Head of/Lead Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages, you will lead a team of outstanding Specialists overseeing MFL learning and teaching across the School. The Department deliver French, Spanish and German at KS3 and 4, and enjoy a strong uptake in languages at KS4 year-on-year. The Candidate will lead on establishing a strong record of ongoing GCSE results, and continue to support the popularitiy of the subject area across the School.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
