Graduate Cover Supervisors

Teaching Personnel are working with The Consortium Academy Trust which was founded in September 2017. This trust has been developed to provide a platform to deliver high quality educational experiences for primary and secondary students. Within the trust, there are two primary and six secondary schools with joint sixth form colleges. These schools are all based across the East Riding and are seeking Graduates to provide classroom support.

This would entail working as a Teaching Assistant, supporting students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. You may also be required to cover lessons in the absence of a teacher and deliver pre-planned work. You would therefore be required to have:

• A 2:2 degree or higher
• 3 A-Levels A*-C or equivalent
• Experience working within an educational setting e.g. through volunteering or college/ university placements
• A Valid Enhanced Child Only DBS registered with the Update Service or will apply through Teaching Personnel
• Full valid UK driving licence with access to own transport (able to travel around the East Riding)
• Availability 3-5 days a week

The successful candidate would therefore have the confidence to support pupils on a 1:1 basis or deliver pre-planned lessons; be passionate about supporting the social, emotional and intellectual development of each student and be flexible to work across each school associated with the Consortium.

Pay: £60 - £80

Location: Hull

Contract: Temporary & permanent. Full & part time.
