Salary: £90-105 a day (Dependent on Experience)

Are you a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in education and make a real difference in the classroom? Teaching Personnel is seeking a highly motivated and inspiring Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our network and support staff and students across secondary schools in South Shields.

About the Role:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to students
• Supporting class teachers with day-to-day learning activities and classroom routines
• Creating a motivating and productive classroom environment
• Collaborating and working closely with teachers to tailor individual student support
• Applying and improving subject knowledge during your time in the classroom

Requirements of the Role:

• A relevant degree and excellent surrounding subject knowledge
• Previous classroom experience in supporting students (desirable but not essential)
• Excellent communication skills
• Can maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning
