Graduate Teaching Assistant
Are you a passionate, hard working graduate looking to pursue a career in teaching?
Teaching Personnel are looking for inspirational graduates to join our Future Teachers Programme commencing September 2019. The programme is suited to any graduates who are interested in becoming a secondary teacher and are looking to gain relevant school based experience. Successful candidates will work as a Teaching Assistant for 12 months, enabling them to gain the experience needed to embark on a Teacher Training course in September 2020.
The role will involve working within one of client schools, taking on a variety of responsibilities including covering classes and assisting with the planning and preparation of lessons. You will focus on your subject specialism, providing 1:1 and small group intervention to raise student attainment. You may also be providing support to students with Special Educational Needs.
All applicants are required to have completed their degree and must be available on a full time basis (Monday – Friday 8:15am – 3pm). We are looking to recruit graduates across all subject areas with a particular focus on English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL and Physical Education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
