Due to expansion and fast-growth, I am currently recruiting several Aspiring Teachers and SEN specialists to work in a specialist SEN school with pupils aged 5-16 years with additional needs. If you’re looking to gain experience before starting initial teacher training or a PGCE, this is the role for you!
The role is available both full-time and part-time 8.30/ 8.45am until 3.30pm, which means we can fit work around current studying, work and family responsibilities.
Duties of this particular role will include:
- Promoting and assisting with the learning and development of the pupil(s) you are assigned to.
- Encouraging pupils’ confidence and independence.
- Managing behaviour.
- Preparing learning resources, as directed by the Class Teacher.
- You may also be required to track and review pupils’ progress, then reporting to the Class Teacher and/or SENCO
