Graduate TA- Bromley Cross (Bolton) (BL7)

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a highly motivated and passionate core subject graduate (Maths,English,Science,Psychology etc) to work in one of our schools located in Bromley Cross, Bolton. The role will be commencing in January 2022 and will run until the end of the academic year 2022. This is a perfect opportunity for recent graduates to gain school-based experience and potentially considered a future in teaching.

The role will be to support intervention and help those that need it most with catch-up on lost education due to COVID. 

The ideal candidate will:

• Ideally have some experience working with children/ young people. Youth work / mentoring / tutoring / volunteering will all be considered. A willingness to learn is essential.
• Have a degree in Maths,English,Science or another subject.
• Be positive, friendly, confident, outgoing and calm under pressure.
• A genuine interest and enthusiasm for supporting the next generation of children.
• Be available full-time.
• Be comfortable working with challenging behaviour and SEN.
• Have a genuine interest in making a difference and helping narrow the gap for those that are disadvantaged.

The school is located in the Bromley Cross area of Bolton and is a small school of just under 300 pupils. In a recent Ofsted inspection in 2019 the school was rated ‘Outstanding’, with a focus on creating happy, ambitious learners. Located a short 5-minute walk from Bromley Cross train station, the school easily accessible from the surrounding areas of Bolton and has on-site parking.
