Graduate Teaching Assistant

If you are a recent graduate looking for an exciting new opportunity in teaching, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Teaching Personnel are seeking a Graduate who is looking to kick start their teaching career, by working as a Teaching Assistant within our client's secondary school in Trafford, South Manchester.

The Successful Graduate will have the opportunity of working a placement of up to a year. You will have the chance of working in a number of different roles, utilising your specialist subject knowledge, supporting a range of different students with different academic abilities.

  • Graduate Teaching Assistant working within a secondary school
  • Supporting students with a range of different academic abilities
  • Supporting students within lessons of your specialist subject knowledge
  • Competitive pay, paid on a weekly basis (ÂŁ269 - ÂŁ309)
  • Located in Trafford in an Ofsted rated 'Good' secondary school
  • Working hours 08:00 - 15:30, with the opportunity in supporting extra curriculum activities

With the new academic year approaching, our client is looking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support their students in September. After the summer break the students and teachers will require added classroom support, to give the students the best start to the academic year.

The ideal Graduate Teaching Assistant we are looking for will have had previous experience supporting students in a learning environment, will be a graduate with specialist subject knowledge, will have aspirations of pursuing a career in teaching and will be able to commit to a full time Teaching Assistant role.

The high achieving secondary school that is appointing a Graduate Teaching Assistant in September is located in the heart of Trafford, just a 20 minute drive from the centre of Manchester. With a tram and bus stop close by makes it easy to access the secondary school via public transport. Being an Ofsted rate 'Good' school this is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to start their teaching career in.
