Graduate Teaching Assistant

Exciting opportunity supporting pupils aged 11-16 within a large secondary school in Bury.

• Full-time Graduate Teaching Assistant.
• Required from September 2021 for the full academic year.
• Opportunity to work in an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school in Bury with excellent CPD training.
• Earn up to GBP1400 per month, depending on previous experience.
• Any experience with children or young people is desirable alongside any transferrable skills to work within the educational sector.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant within our client school, responsibilities will include working alongside children who require additional support including children with learning or behavioural difficulties. You will be helping class teachers to plan and deliver intervention sessions to raise pupil attainment alongside promoting positive behaviour management.

Our client school is in Bury and can be accessed via the M66 and A56 from surrounding areas such as Bolton and central Manchester. For non-drivers, the school is accessible via several public transportation links from neighbouring areas such as Prestwich and Rochdale.
