Teaching Personnel are working alongside a number of Primary Schools in the Trafford area to help graduates get their foot in the door of the education world.

This position is perfect for a recent Graduate who is hoping for a future career in Primary teaching, as it will provide experience before entering into a teacher training programme.

-          Graduates of all specialisms are welcome to apply for this position

-          Full-time and part-time Graduate positions available for the academic year

-          Working alongside the class teacher, and supporting students in classes

-          Must be comfortable working with children whose first language is not English

-          Covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher

-          Gain invaluable experience prior to beginning  teacher training/PGCE

-          Dependent on previous experience, earn up to GBP300 per week

With over 600 pupils, the school is in need of extra staff to guarantee students are supported and that teachers also have the help they require in the classroom. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant within our client school, responsibilities will include working 1:1 with identified pupils that require additional support within the subject specialism. Further responsibilities incorporate supporting the class teacher, covering lessons in the absence of the teacher and delivering intervention sessions to raise overall pupil attainment. Applicants will require being comfortable working with children where English is not their first language. This experience will enhance future teacher training applications, and could result in a direct placement with the client school.

Located in the Trafford area, our client school is easily accessible.  For non-drivers, there are forms of public transportation with links to the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
