Join Teaching Personnel as a Teaching Assistant supporting primary schools across Cwmbran. You’ll work closely with pupils who have Autism (ASD), ADHD, or Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs—helping them learn, thrive, and feel valued in school.

What You’ll Do
-
Support children 1:1 or in small groups
-
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
-
Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs
-
Help create an inclusive, engaging classroom environment
-
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and support staff
-
Contribute to EHCPs (Education, Health & Care Plans) and IEPs (Individual Education Plans)
Who We’re Looking For

Graduates or students in Psychology, Education, Sociology, Childhood Studies or related areas

Those with experience working with children or young people (paid, voluntary or personal)

Individuals who are empathetic, patient, and great communicators
