Graduate Teaching Assistant

  • Bath – Odd Down to Larkhall areas
  • £11.85 hourly
  • Weekly pay
  • Full-time and part-time roles available (8:30-3:30 weekdays, no weekends)

We are supporting multiple provisions in Bath (Odd Down and Larkhall areas) who are recruiting for youth support workers to assist in their classroom based settings. The support is predominantly guiding pupils with social, emotional, mental health needs (SEMH) where they could have experienced trauma, neglect and other challenges causing mental health challenges. In these alternative school settings, the class sizes are smaller and the adult support is greater so that each student’s needs can be met.

This opportunity allows you to gain further experience and learn new skills whilst earning money and building a great rapport with an established team of specialists!

An ideal candidate will be:

  • Confident managing children’s behaviour
  • Emotionally resilient
  • An approachable, friendly character
  • Aware or have experience of supporting children or adults with autism or other additional needs
  • Team Teach trained is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
