Location: Blackburn
Start Date: September 2026
Subjects: English, Mathematics, Science

Are you a university graduate in a core subject looking to begin your journey into teaching in the Blackburn area?

We are recruiting English, Maths and Science graduates to join our Future Teachers Programme, working within mainstream secondary schools across Blackburn from September 2026. This programme is ideal for graduates who are passionate about education and want to gain valuable school-based experience before moving into formal teacher training.

About the Programme:

  • Work closely with teaching staff in Blackburn secondary schools
  • Gain hands-on classroom experience across KS3 and KS4
  • Support pupils’ learning, progress, and engagement
  • Learn effective classroom management and teaching strategies
  • Receive mentoring and professional guidance from experienced educators
  • Prepare for future teacher training routes (PGCE / SCITT / School Direct)
