We are currently seeking a strong, experienced Cover Supervisor to work full-time in a mainstream secondary school in Blackburn, starting Monday 1st June on an on‑going basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor who can maintain high standards of behaviour and learning while delivering pre-set work across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The Role:
- Deliver planned lessons in the absence of teaching staff
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Ensure pupils remain on task and engaged with their work
- Provide support across multiple subjects as required
- Uphold a calm, professional presence throughout the school day
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor (essential)
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Confidence working with secondary-aged pupils
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom settings
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to a full-time role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
