Cover Supervisor – Full-Time

Location: Blackburn
Start Date: Monday 1st June
Duration: On‑going
School Type: Mainstream Secondary School

We are currently seeking a strong, experienced Cover Supervisor to work full-time in a mainstream secondary school in Blackburn, starting Monday 1st June on an on‑going basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor who can maintain high standards of behaviour and learning while delivering pre-set work across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role:

  • Deliver planned lessons in the absence of teaching staff
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Ensure pupils remain on task and engaged with their work
  • Provide support across multiple subjects as required
  • Uphold a calm, professional presence throughout the school day

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor (essential)
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Confidence working with secondary-aged pupils
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom settings
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to a full-time role
