Graduate Teacher Internship

This opportunity is ideal for a graduate who is considering a career in teaching and is looking to gain further experience within a secondary school.

• Full-time Graduate Teaching Assistant Internship.
• Required from September 2020 until the end of the academic year (July 2021).
• Competitive rates of pay, earning up to GBP1300 per month.
• Supported onto a teacher training programme.

Our client secondary school in Salford are currently recruiting graduates to join their ‘Future Teachers’ Programme for September 2020. This programme provides graduates with the invaluable skills and experience necessary to become a successful teacher and will also provide support for securing a position on an upcoming teacher training programme. The incoming graduates will be employed as a teaching assistant for the full academic year; working with students in need of extra support, monitoring pupils’ progress and supported class teachers with the cover of lessons.

To be accepted onto the Future Teachers Programme, you must have a degree of any specialism or be coming to the end of the final year of your degree. Previous experience working with children and young people is desirable but not necessary as full training will be provided.

Following the completion of the Future Teachers Programme, successful Graduates will be supported onto a school direct/teacher training course.
