Graduate TA - Cheadle

Are you a graduate looking to gain classroom experience before your PGCE?

A secondary school in Cheadle are seeking graduates to join their teaching team in the Teaching Assistant role. This is an opportunity for a graduate looking to pursue a career in Teaching to gain school based experience in a support role, before completing their PGCE. The successful Teaching Assistant will be able to successfully support pupils with work in and outside the classroom, as well as running intervention session in small groups. This will require a basic level

As a Teaching Assistant, your role will involve supporting pupils within the classroom, as well as working with students on a 1:1 and small group basis is your subject specialism area.

  • Graduate Teaching Assistant roles available
  • Full time positions starting immediately, as well as positions starting in the summer term
  • Pay rate £250 - £300 per week

The school is located in the Cheadle area of Manchester, and is set in pleasant grounds, creating a peaceful learning environment for pupils. This secondary school sets high standards for both pupils and teachers, encouraging all in the learning environment. The school has a friendly and respectful environment, and focuses on nurturing pupils, helping them develop both personally and academically. The successful Teaching Assistant will be able to work to meet the high standards of the school.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
