Graduate/Student Education Opportunities

Teaching Personnel is working alongside Secondary Schools in Wakefield and the surrounding areas to appoint recent graduates, or current students, into education-based roles. 

This is a fantasic opportunity to use your subject speciality knowledge from your studies, or previous work experience in a rewarding and fullfilling role across a range of schools. 

If you have a desire to work in schools or become a teacher, this role would be ideal for you. Relevant experience with children/young people in school settings is essential.

Training will also be delivered on the job and your dedicated consultant at Teaching Personnel will also personally ensure you have access to our range of CPD activities and tasks!

There are multiple roles available, varying on your goals and experience. These might include, Teaching Assistant, Unqualified Teacher, Cover Supervisor, HLTA, Tutor and far more. 

Start Date - September

Both Full and Part time positions available 

Job Overview

-          Building and maintaining positive relationships with students

-          Supporting learners through all aspects of education, whilst promoting independence

-          Nurturing students' social, emotional health and wellbeing.

What the schools are looking for

-          Desire to become a teacher - Support children/young people 

-          Graduate from a relevant field - desirable, but not essential!

-          Ability to build positive rapport with both students and staff

-          Resilient and nurturing presence and a passion for education

-          Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing tasks/situations

You will need an enhanced Child only DBS, or be willing to apply for one.
