Graduate Learning Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel are working with a Secondary School in Stockport who are looking for an outgoing and confident Graduate to start as a Teaching Assistant in September on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday (8:30 to 3:30pm).
The school is situated in the heart of Stockport and is walking distance of local tram and bus stops, so it is very accessible via public transport. There is also a large onsite car park that staff members can utilise. A successful applicant has the potential to earn up to £110 per day (depending on experience).
Key role responsibilities:
- Working closely with Departments to identify and support those students who would benefit from additional support.
- Providing 1:1 tutor support and interventions with small groups of students needing to meet expectations of peers.
- Offering detailed feedback on student progress and development to the SENCO.
- Liaising with parents regularly to offer updates on student progress.
The school are looking for a motivated and organised graduate who is confident in their ability to support all students with their learning. It is essential that applicants are outgoing and approachable in order for them to connect with students from a variety of different backgrounds.
In addition, the role offers the successful applicant with the chance to gain experience working at a highly rated Ofsted school. Which will be perfect for candidates looking to gain experience prior to taking on a PGCE.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
