What You’ll Be Doing

As an Education Support Assistant, you will support students from ages 4–19, helping them learn, communicate, and thrive in a school environment tailored to their individual needs.

Your role will include:

  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support to students with ASD and other learning needs

  • Assisting with differentiated lessons, ensuring activities are accessible, engaging, and meaningful

  • Promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and social interaction

  • Helping create a calm, structured, inclusive classroom environment

  • Supporting students with sensory processing needs and communication strategies (e.g., PECS, visuals)

  • Working with teachers and therapists to monitor progress and contribute to personalised support plans

Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
